Would a different superstar lead CAVS to a better record?

The Poll is based on the play and capability of EVERY superstar this season only. Not what they were a few years ago or what they will be in the future.

I'm currently in an argument with a poster in the MVP thread who believes that LeBron not only doesn't make his teammates better(makes them worse according to him), but that 2 players(Kobe and CP3) would also lead Cleveland to a better record than LeBron has this season. Now, Cleveland with LeBron is 37-21(.640) this season. That's A Top 10 win % percentage in the league. I must also mention that they're 0-7 w/o LeBron this season.

So, do you think somebody can do better than LeBron this season? Please vote YES or NO.

No because the Cavs are built around the SF position. You can't fit Kobe, Duncan, or Paul in there and expect them to have the same type of success.

Ummm...did you even read the title? I'm not asking abt whether another superstar can lead Cleveland to the playoffs. I'm asking whether anyone can lead them to a better RECORD than what LeBron currently has(37-21)?

I wonder if without LeBron dominating the ball their offense might improve. LeBron is great, but he doesn't run an offense well.

Blah. Come to think of it this is just another LeBron vs. Kobe poll. Whoever considers either better will vote for YES/NO. I see this going 50/50 all the way. Maybe slightly tilting on YES' side since there are more Kobe fans here.

Comparable superstars produce similar results.

To be fair, I think Duncan can lead the Cavs to a better record also.

replace LeBron with Duncan and who's going to get him the ball? LeBron has been the only playmaker on the team.

Lebron James is having one of the best seasons in NBA history. The team is 0-7 without him yet another superstar is supposed to do more with this team?

The Lebron/Kobe wars are laughable

How hard is it to pass the ball to TD? It's not like he's Shaq, and needs to be real close to the basket. TD can work from the high post.

Who's been getting Duncan the ball his whole career? Its not like he's ever played with any great playmakers. Of course LeBron is the only playmaker on the Cavs, its tough for anyone else to make plays with him dominating the ball for 40+ mins a game.
