do the Raptors, Wizards and Sixers all have legitimate shots at beating Orlando in a 7-game series?..I'm not talking about a chance like "everybody has a chance", but more as in a LEGITIMATE chance..

I actually hope that Toronto keeps losing so they don't have to play Cleveland.

Philly has no shot of beating the Magic. Washington would have a chance to beat Orlando but I wouldn't count on them doing so (unless Gil comes back and is ready to abuse the Magic backcourt), but the Raptors do indeed have a chance of beating the Magic.

Bosh vs Howard in the play offs would make it worth all the losing [tanking of course] it took to get that 6th season.

Not only do I think a healthy Raptors team has a chance to beat the Magic, I think they would beat the Magic.

Certainly all 3 could beat the Magic in a series, but only the Raptors would really scare me as a Magic fan. We do not match up well with them.

Yes, it would kind of suck for you guys if you end up with 50+ wins and get us in the first round over Philly/Washington/Jersey, but I don't see it happening. Philly should comeback down to earth eventually, and with Bosh finally back next week, the Raptors should get enough W's to preserve the 5th seed.

But if it did happen, Bosh always plays his best basketball vs Dwight and the Magic, so I definitely would love to see that match-up go down.

Bosh and Dwight would both put up monster numbers. Calderon would definitely have his way also.

You guys got a great team. I think you guys beat us in the first round if we meet up, and give the 2nd round team you face a hell of a series! :D

Bosh usually has a great game against you guys, but coming off an injury at the end of the season, he might be a little rusty! But either way, the Magic are a great team.

I'd love for the Raptors to play the Magic in the playoffs. Two teams I like that play a good uptempo game, I'm sure it would be exciting. Even though Toronto seems better than Orlando when they play them during regular season, post-season it might be a different story and probably a lot closer. I just hope Toronto has gotten their playoff jitters out of them and will put up a better performance than they did against NJ last year.

Philly ... no

Toronto ... only with a healthy Bosh

Washington ... yes, again with a healthy lineup

But I still favour Orlando over all of those teams, simply more talent from positions 1-5

Why is it that Philly has no chance? They matchup with them very well. AI2 is a good defensive player who will be matched up with Hedu, both players are relatively equal therefore this matchup is a wash. The magic play Lewis at the four, against many other teams this would be a huge advantage for the Magic on the offensive end, but in the three games they have played Thad Young has played very good defense against Lewis, taking him out of the game offensively. Dwight is a beast, he'll get his, but they can throw Booth, Dalembert, and Evans at him, he'll still get his. The magic's biggest weakness (PG play) is the sixers biggest strength, Andre Miller will have fun. The sixers may not win, but they definitely have a chance.

Although the Raptors have been pretty successful against the Magic this year, I'm still not convinced that they can beat them in the Playoffs.

I actually think the Magic matchup perfectly against the Raptors. Hedo and Rashard will destroy any wing defender Toronto wants to throw out at them. Dwight will rebound everything in sight too. This all just spells disaster. I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.

Um, Toronto destroys Orlando at the 1/2/4 positions.

Anthony Parker vs. Mo Evans/Keith Bogans
Chris Bosh vs. Rashard Lewis

Both matchups certainly favor Toronto, but neither is a as lopsided as you are saying..

Well, if it makes you feel any better, the Magic absolutely annihilate us at the 3/5 and coaching positions.

But you have to be kidding me if you don't think Bosh is superior to Lewis in every possible way. And Parker is playing like a man possessed right now, he's a really underrated player, and his stats won't tell you how good he really is. He's a capable 18-20 point scorer on good shooting percentages with the right amount of touches. Parker is so much better than Evans, really, he is.

But hey, the the Magic are the ones who're on pace for the 52-53 win season and the ones that are healthy and dominating, so I shouldn't get ahead of myself here. I just really like how the Raptors match-up, when healthy of course.

Rasho really guards Dwight well. The Raptors would have a Bosh/Rasho PF/C duo on the court for most of the series.

I think Ill still take Dwight 100% of the time in that matchup.. 20/15 easily
