On paper Atlanta shouldhave the better future (just like they should be better this year), but just like all of our other sports teams, they underperform like it's their job. This team should be fighting for the 5th seed at least, instead we're in a dead heat for 8th. I wish we had Philly's energy, heart, leadership and even Mo Cheeks.

Hard to say. I would rather wait until the offseason, where we can better elicit the situation. The Hawks don't have a first round pick this year whereas the Sixers possess one. Moreover the Sixers have at least 10 millions to spend and might even pursue Josh Smith.
At the moment though the Hawks have better young player on paper than the Sixers. As I said though the advantage might shift the other way during the offseason.

As long as Mike Woodson is coach and Billy Knight GM i wouldn't neccesarly say that Atlanta was a better future .
Anything can happen with these two.

Atlanta for sure and like one of the posters above said, they always under perform. So many players doing well, but they just can't manage to win.

hopefully BK will be gone after this season and will no longer be able to sabotage the team. Woody is a bad coach but it is largely Knight's fault that Woodson is coaching a team of players who's talents don't really fit his schemes... BK did hire Woody AND pick the players knowing each ones competancies.
We still need a lot of depth.
