Please indicate who would you rather have take both now and the future into account

Amare Stoudemire (5)

Amare as a young player was shockingly impressive player. He had a very serious injury, but is still a top 20 player in the league. He is with Steve Nash, and they have been one of the best PG/PF tandems lately. With the acquisition of the SOS(Shadow of Shaq), Stoudemire has been open more often.
Teammates in 64:2(Steve Nash, Leandro Barbarosa)

VS

Jason Richardson (12)

Jason Richardson really has made a name as one of the best athletic wings in the league. He consistently appears on highlight reels, and usually will give a young Bobcats team 20 points or more a night. His team hasn't preformed to expectations.
Teammates in 64:1(Emeka Okafor)

I love J-Rich, but Amare has been DOMINANT this season especially in the past couple months. Then factor in positions and intangibles, this has got to be Amare.

Jason Richardson sucks.

I've been waiting for like 7 years for him to learn how to dribble the ball and attack the rim instead of playing soft faerie ball but it hasn't happened. Instead, he's trended towards more 3PA over the course of his career and fewer FTA.

He's a good passer, he's actually a pretty good shooter but he's a waste of an incredible physical package. He's got a very broad, muscular frame, incredible athleticism and he's a shooter. That's just...

That's the most depressing thing to see in basketball, he reminds me of Vince Carter in so many ways. He could be so much more dangerous!

Amare can't defend for beans but he's a dominant offensive force.

This is one of those few comparisons that's not very close.

We actually agree on something :D
Amare by a mile. That J-rich for Brandan Wright trade is gonna look terrible in a few years.

Dunno about that; Golden State's loving it and it opened up more shots for Monta and S-Jax...

Oh, you meant for Charlotte?

Heh.

But it's Charlotte, everyone knew that wouldn't work out.
