Andrew Bogut vs Andrew Bynum

Have seen some talk of this recently around the different board and would like to see what you guys thought. The way Bogut is playing right now he has shown he can be a dominant center in this league, especially when the offense is ran through him. He has put up some huge games so far this year most notably against Amare. This is not based on potential because no doubt Bynum looks like he is going to be a stud. If you guys could take one though right now to help your team get into the playoffs (assuming Bynum is healthy of course). Who do you take. And would you take Bogut over Bynum if you had to choose one to be your center for the next 10 years. Offense I give the edge to Bogut by a huge margin. Bynum has the edge defensively I think. Thoughts?

I think this is a poll where there is no right or wrong answer. There is just an answer. Any team besides Orlando and Houston would love to have either player on their team. Bynum will probably win this by a huge margin though considering no one watches Milwaukee, and everyone sees the Lakers. Bynum will end up being very good, but his offense basically consists of what Dwight Howard's offense is, dunks. This is an equal comparison because i think when you take 3 categories, offense, defense, and athleticism it goes like this. offense goes to Bogut by a decent margin, defense is about equal, and athleticism goes to Bynum by a decent margin.

you didn't see Bynum in his later days before his injury then. He was getting 20 point games and posting up smaller guys and just demolishing him with his hook shot, guys like Amare, Biedrins, Camby. I even saw a turnaround jumper a couple times. You might as well say Shaq has no offensive game.

Bynum. The competition he has faced is much fierecer than what Bogut faces in the EC.

Bynum I can see, but there is NO WAY that Biedrins is better. Biedrins is a better rebounder but Bogut has him in everything else.

Great numbers, no doubt. Not sure when 6 games became anything but 6 games. Not a large enough sample size to draw much of a conclusion.

bynum has more potential but at this point bogut is easily the better player imho.

i don't think there's one respectable poster on this board that would say bogut is EASILY better than bynum.

ill pick bynum...the way i look at it, 5 years from now bogut will be a starter, but a role player...bynum on the other hand, is going to be putting up 20/10..

I love what Bogut has been doing lately, and knee injury problems to young big men can be devastating.
I'll take Bogs, like his complete offensive game and his b-ball IQ.
