Combo guards defined how? If you mean a player with point guard size that doesn't get a lot of assists, neither Kobe nor Deron Williams is going to qualify. If you include guys with two guard size that can play the point, you will get the same list as best two guard . . . Kobe, TMac, DWade, etc.

I think he just means guys like AI, Arenas, Dwade(maybe), Ellis.

Basically would-be two guard who often play point because of size issues and generally good ball handling and passing.

That being said, I take AI.

This is easily Wade. Arenas and Iverson are 2nd and 3rd.

My definition of a combo guard is someone that can man the PG or SG position with (just about) the same amout of efficiency/success

Its between Arenas and Iverson for me

It seems to me that Wade would rack up too many turnovers as a full time PG.. And I dont think Ellis would be the same player as a full time PG of a team

That's how you feel but Arenas>Wade for me
.Wade gets way too many turnovers to play PG for a long stretch. Just because he is undersized doesn't make him a combo guard.

Wade is 6'3.75 barefoot. Kobe is like 6'4.5 barefoot. Is there really much difference to call Wade undersized?

When healthy, Wade.

Kobe isn't a combo guard IMO.

I think Iverson takes this and quite easily. Iverson is a pure combo guard in every sense of the word.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

The order changes depending on how highly you rank playmaking vs scoring.

Iverson is the definition of a combo guard, it's got to be him.
