Moving forward: Bosh or Wade?

Post#1 » by Kosta » Mon Mar 31, 2008 7:28 am

Not asking necessarily who the better player here is, but if you could choose one guy to build your team around now and have for the future, who would it be? Basically, who is more valuable moving forward?

IMO it's still Wade.

However the gap has shrunk significantly.

Bosh, Wades injury problems would scare me off.

Bosh has moved ahead and he caught up quickly because of D-Wade's durability.

As of right now, people will say Bosh because of Wade's durability. But after a solid season from Wade that i expect next year, people will be back on his bandwagon saying he's atop 5 player, and rightfully so.

^Exactly, the "what have you done for me lately" theory.

Lol what kind of a result do you expect from this thread. In Feb. 2007, when Wade was killing it, leading the league in PER, the reigning Finals MVP, and arguably better than Kobe, I remember "a who is a better player, Wade or Bosh?" thread. And I remember it coming out as a tie.

That was then, this is now. It's justifiable to take Bosh over Wade now.

I vote for Bosh. It makes Raptor fans feel good. Come on guys, I know you get a warm fuzzy feeling in your pants out of it. HA!

I would take Wade but the reasons even back then were a bit justified. One of the main concerns people had in that thread was that Wade would have a short prime and would be riddled with injuries because of his style of play, which is showing right now.

wade is better than Bosh as a player but I would take Bosh just because of wades durability alone.
