If the Rockets and Lakers Meet in Round 1 who wins?

Currently if the playoffs ended today, the Lakers would be the 3rd seed in the west and the Rockets would be the 6th seed.
Now that Gasol is back in the lineup for the Lakers they will be even more dangerous and even when Bynum returns they could even be more dangerous than now.
The Rockets lost Yao for the season, but they went on a 22 game winning streak (10 games without Yao IIRC). They went from 10th place to 1st place and are now back in 6th place.
Here is the question if the Rockets and Lakers meet in Round 1 as the seedings are now does anyone think that the Rockets would pull off the upset?
Current Playoff Matchups
Lakers Probable Lineup
PG Fisher/Farmar
SG Kobe/Sasha
SF Odom/Walton
PF Gasol/Radmanovic
C Bynum/Turiaf
Rockets Probable Lineup
PG Alston/Jackson
SG T-mac/Head
SF Battier/Harris/Novak
PF Scola/Hayes
C Dikembe/Landry

without yao and with bynum-gasol they will win us for sure, probably 4-2 or 4-1, if everyone is healthy then we are the best team out there.

With Yao it would be a close series. Anyone who isn't a homer should see that.....

Both teams healthy, the Lakers still take this in 6, I think. I don't think the Rockets are really capable of handling what the Lakers can put out and I think the Lakers are a lot more suited to handling Houston defensively.
Next year, when they've got a season and a postseason behind them, I'd be inclined to revist my opinion but right now, I haven't the faith in Houston to see them beating the Lakers in a 7-game series.

like it or not, the lineup and the bench are pretty close, the difference could be with gasol and scola, and honestly, gasol is too soft, scola plays no defense? well, gasol is worst in that, gasol is a tallest player and thats all.

No, I think of significance is that the Lakers are considerably more dangerous on offense and that even without Bynum, they are a better team in that regard. Kobe is a lot more dangerous than T-Mac.
More importantly, if Bynum is there, the Houston frontcourt is screwed.

Lakers sweep..if Yao was playing, I'd give Houston a legitimate chance at winning the series..without Yao and with Bynum/Gasol, I don't see how Houston can match up with LA..

The Lakers would win because T-Mac would choke.

T-Mac as a #1 option: first round exit..
Kobe as a #1 option: first round exit..
it has been the same so far..
that should bring some controversy..

Without Yao i already said we would lose 4-1 or something, like you actually said.
There is a big chance of meet the Lakers in first round, we will be 6th for sure, then the Lakers can be 3th perfectly, Hornets and Spurs games left are easy and can finish in the top2...
