Since I'm from europe, I may not have enough insight and thats the reason I'd like to know from you!

How would you rank the 30 NBA-Teams (or the best+worst) in terms of the whole city-enviroment!

That said: Not counting ownership, management, players, BUT market, fans and arena and maybe location of the city itself!

Feel free to add some non-NBA-cities to the list (only US+Canada) in order to make the list "What would be the top 30 cities the NBA/Stern would love to have their teams!"

Toronto has to be one of the worst sports cities. The Leafs suck, the Jays and Raptors are average, and Toronto FC is a joke.

No championship parades anytime soon.

College basketball does pretty well in Connecticut and it's like the richest state in the country, I'm sure a team could have a nice market here. Of course I'm just saying that cause I live here.

LA, NY, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Philly, there are just some of the big names, im just naming off of a list that had the most profitable franchises. Plus the population and the size of the city have a lot to do with most things.

Bay Area is pretty good, Warriors and Sharks have been pretty successful recently, the fans are rabid and the arenas are nice.

But go to a Niners, Raiders, Giants or A's game and... :nonono:

What? Toronto isn't one of the worst sports cities. Toronto FC set a league record in their first season for ticket sales, and have some of the best fans in MLS. Maple Leafs are one of the most followed teams in Hockey. Basketball, and Basketball don't have as much as the others but are in the top half for attendance. Our teams are currently mediocre for the most part except for maybe the Jays, but the city is good for sports.

This thread is silly. There is no rational criteria being used. You could name any city and then just justify it with whatever you feel is important.
