NICE Comparison!
If I'm not mistaken Parker is 24 and Roy is 23 so both close in age and both young guards in the west.
Going off of stats TP has 18/6/3 while roy average 19/6/5. HOWEVER I don't think one can lets stats do all the talking with any players on the spurs. Like TD I think Parker could put up better stats but they both play within the system and don't let stats determine their playing style, not saying Roy does either so that negates both.
I think if you asked value, outside of portland(since he is our leader), parker would win cause he is a pg.
You asked better player though so imo it's truly a tossup. At the moment I would say parker just because he has won it all while roy won't get to taste the playoffs until next season (WATCH OUT!). Both players are very similar in that they can hit the midrange jumper, distribute, and drive to the lane at will. So for right now it's parker but both I think will have similar careers winning a few rings while letting their bigmen carry the load, if oden lives up to the hype, but at the end of their career the only thing seperating them will be who has more rings.

Tony Parker is so much of a better defender compared to Roy. Tony Parker can take over games too, and has a sweet jumper. If you want championships, you can't go wrong with Tony Parker.

I'd take Tony P at this point, with the way the rules are set up / enforced jet quick guards are the way to go.

If you put Brandon Roy on the Spurs with Duncan and coached by Pop... he'd have rings too.
They are both pretty equal but people will choose Parker just because he gets the benefit of playing for a championship team.

Roy better defender, better shoter, better playmaker. He owns Parker.

Roy is a very good defender actually. He also has the ability to get into the lane like Parker. Put him on the Spurs and he has the same ammount of rings Parker does.....maybe more.
Put Parker on the Blazers and I don't think we would have won as many as we did this year.
I take Roy.
I also think Eva Longoria is a bit over rated for those scoring at home

Anyone can be a ballhog when given the lights, and have defenders to back you up....
switch tp on the blazers, and they are lottery

I've only seen Roy about 5 times this year, so I won't comment on him..
TP- strengths: he's probably the best finisher at the PG position in the NBA..just amazing at layups..his shot has improved and he can dominate a game with his scoring..one of the best 1-man fastbreaks in the NBA..
weaknesses: he isn't a great playmaker for his teammates..not bad, but not great..overdribbles at times, putting the offense in a bad position..BELOW AVERAGE defender..his defense has fallen off significantly this year, as has every perimeter defender on the Spurs(other than Ime)..

He has better size, defense, and shooting range then Tony Parker.

Playing with Tim Duncan, and the fact that you have shown distain for anyone in the Northwest division not named Utah would have nothing to do with that would it?
