ROY for me, I think he has better intangibles like leadership skills. This is all speculation of course. Im sure roy can score 25ish ppg in the future

You left out a pretty key stat TO.
Joe : 2.7
Roy: 1.8
Considering they are pretty close in playing time listing them on a 36min or 48min skew wouldn't hurt.

I think they're really really close, but Roy is more of a team first guy (JJ forcing his way out of Phoenix for a big payday would never happen with Roy). Roy is also 5 years younger.
JJ is deffinetly a better shooter, Roy a better slasher. I think Roy is the better defender, but JJ has 2 inches on him, for whatever that means.
Slight edge to Roy.

Wow, eerily similar stats. I will go with Brandon Roy. He's only a sophomore and he's already getting stats and recognition like a 5 year veteran. That's pretty amazing.

That is probably the least substantiated theory I've ever heard. Roy is never going to be in a position like Joe was in Phoenix but if he was, you'd almost hope he did something because Joe had too much talent to be pigeonholed as a spot-up shooter.
Anyway, Joe is probably the better defender at this point but Roy definitely has room to surpass him there.
Its important to realize that Johnson had very little lift for most of the season. Check out his stats, he was shooting around 40% for most of the year but really turned it on for the closing stretch where he shot around 49% .
I think Roy will end up better but if I could take either one of them (healthy) for one game I'd take Johnson.

I'm going with Roy on the basis of Leadership. Roy is simply a better leader and while Johnson is a decent leader, Roy's leadership skills are seldom found. Roy's team-first mentality contributed to my decision as well. He seems to be willing to produce whatever is needed to win. hWether it be scoring, passing, etc., you can expect him to produce whatever is necessary to lead your team to victory.
