Carlos Boozer-Deron Williams/ Chris Paul-David West

Post#1 » by RelativeZdot » Thu May 1, 2008 4:50 am

All four plyers are compared to their counterparts quite frequently. I havent seen this comparison yet however. I like the Boozer Williams combo. I am not saying that they are individual players but the communication and understanding of each others game makes me want makes me inclined to chose that duo. If they stay together for at least 10 years then I would guess that they could pass Malone n Stock by winning a few titles. But back to the initial comparison Booz n D-Will all day every day. Paul is great but West is getting slightly overrated. very solid player but doest impact the game and put as much pressure on a defense as Booz.

West is getting slightly overrated?

Funny how a guy can go from being underrated to overrated with no stop in between.

Someone care to explain?

Deron and Paul are close IMO but Boozer >> West so I'll take the Jazz pair.

the difference b/w Williams and Paul is negligble......whereas I'd say Boozer has an edge over West. However, if these guys were to play 2 on 2 i'd rather have Williams over Paul, and West (Boozer can't handle his quickness) over Boozer.

Disagree--they'll never have had to deal with MJ in the finals. Also, those two are arguably top-3 in league history at their position; Deron and Boozer are arguably top-3 in the league right now. Deron/Boozer is a poor man's Malone and Stockton, even if they win a championship.

But yeah, I agree that the disparity between Boozer and West is bigger than that between Paul and Williams. I take the Jazz duo.
Hello ladies. Look at your posts. Now back to mine. Now back at your posts now back to MINE. Sadly, they aren't mine. But if your posts started using Optimismâ„¢, they could sound like mine. This post is now diamonds.

Try using the search. This is an overdone cmparision. Jazz duo win each time.

On offense, it's hard to tell. On defense, I would take the Jazz.
