You need someone to guard the opposing teams best player in the 4th quarter, who do you take?

i take Prince in the case that i need someone to guard the best player. But theres more to defense than the guy youre guarding, even then though i would still probably take Prince slightly over Marion.

Definitely Prince. Marion is versatile, but he's not a guy that will shut down an opposing team's best player.

Marion in a heartbeat, since we're only discussing defensive efficacy, ITK9.
Marion had a legit argument for DPOY last year; Prince did not.
Marion can defend four positions; he's actually effective at limiting lightning-bug guards ala Tony Parker, working against Kobe Bryant, working against PFs... he's perhaps the most versatile defender in the league and he's very, very good. That he also rebounds like a PF/C doesn't hurt his defensive ability.
Definitely Marion.

I'd go with Prince, Marion might be more versatile, but I never feel like he's a really good defender on anyone, just a decent defender on everyone.
