O.K.
On defense I say they are a wash. Jordan had Pippen to guard the best peremiter guy so Jordan didn't and we have seen what Kobe can do on the defensive end but I still say wash judging on what they have done.
Kobe imo is a better scorer. He not only got that 81 point game but he is a better 3 point shooter they are tied in the post or Kobe has the advantage. They both have the turn around perfected and the midrange game.
Rebounds I give it to Kobe. I am not judging on the numbers but the fact that Kobe is such a clutch rebounder I give it to him.
Playmaking and passing they are both as capable as really good pg's so that is pretty much a wash.
MJ had bigger hands therefor was a better bandhandler but Kobe being a better 3 point shooter is pretty big and maybe bigger.
They are both the most competitive players and nobody works harder then them. Jordan doesn't eat junk food Kobe does but Kobe hasn't lost any athletism and he is 29.
Kobe plays in an era were the players and teams competition are overall more talented then in Jordan's era. In Jordans era each team had 1 star maybe 2. Now each team all has 3 and there are so many more talented teams. A team with a 1 year removed mvp and a hall of fame pg with another allstar in Howard is the 7th seed and out in round 1 in Dallas. If they played in the 90's they would have probably made the finals instead of out in 1.
They are both equally good at making others better.
Lets see is there any aspect I am missing?
