Chris Paul is the best player in the NBA..

Post#1 » by NDaATL » Fri May 9, 2008 3:38 am

Kobe is the best scorer, but Paul is just unbelievable. It is downright unbelievable what he's doing against a great defense, even on the road.

He's already better than Nash and Kidd ever were, and Deron is good but he has nothing on Paul. He is absolutely unstoppable, gets anywhere he wants to, makes the correct decisions, and can make any shot.

I love Kobe and have always even up to now said he was the best right now, but I've never seen someone absolutely dominate like Paul has been.

IMO, Kobe is the best. Kobe is on a Jordan level right now. CP3 is on a Magic level right now. Jordan > Magic.... There you go.

Well, "Jordan and Magic" haven't played against each other yet. I can't wait to see a NOH/LAL WCF, damn that will be awesome.

I completely understand an argument for Kobe though, he's definitely 1A.

OK, we all know there are more Kobe fans on this board (me being one of them) than any other player. What's the point of this thread really? Most people are going to disagree with you, and they have a lot of the info to prove it.

This happens every year, somebody plays great for a stretch and then that player has become better then Kobe. Then when we let the emotions subdue after a while, we come back to our senses. BTW, Kobe is also having a sick playoffs so far, perhaps you haven't been watching.

If Chris Paul is the best player in the league, then Rashard Lewis is 1b. 33/6/5 on 11-15 shooting against the Pistons!?! Are you kidding me?

If you extrapolate that over an 82 game regular season, that like, 33 ppg, 6 rpg, and 5 apg on 73% shooting! Plus 2 steals and a block. That would be the best season in the history of the NBA!

He's already better than Nash and Kidd ever were

Kidd was a six time All-NBA selection, a nine time All-defense selection and took the Nets to the finals twice

Paul is very good, great even, but let's wait a sec before we proclaim him better than Kidd, one of the great PGs of his generation

I cant speak on Isiah, Magic, Or Oscar since theyre before my time....

But Paul is having the best season for a PG ive ever seen. Better than Stockton, Kidd, Payton, KJ, etc...

Laker fans need to stop acting like Kobe is on a pedestal by himself, its definitely arguable on who the best player is.

Hey Genius, he was alluding to the fact that NOR and LAL havent played each other in the playoffs, in case you missed the part where he actually SAID that he was talking about the WCF.

God some people are just waiting to pound on other people with these condescending remarks. Its like their wives dont give them no lovin' or somethin.
