Carter put up 21.3/5,1/6.0 on 45.6/35.9/81.6. Statistically there seasons aren't as close as those stats indicate. He had a much better A:TO ratio than Wade, and he scored the ball more efficiently (TS + EFG were higher). Not only that but he completely thrashed Wade across the board as far as win shares, ORTG, and pretty much every other "advanced stat" is concerned (The exception being DRTG). He had a much lower usage rate, lower TO%, and of course he maintained a higher RB rate. People like you who think Carter has fallen off will be shocked next season. He was playing on one leg the entire season, and he was still one of the best swingmen in the league. Dear Lord, his advantage was the fact that he played on a better team. Look at what Wade's done compared to Carter every other year aside from his rookie year.
This year, Wade's most consistent teammate was Ricky freaking Davis! If that doesn't tell you how bad it was, coupled with recovery from surgery, then I don't know what to tell you.
Wade's the better player. You know it, I know it, everyone here knows it...

Carter is very underrated now, he had a great 2nd half.
If its in terms of how they played this season, etopn23 made a great argument for Vince 1, and Wade 2. But if it is about what SG in the East you would want to have next season, youd be lying to yourself if you have Wade not ranked at 1.

I think Redd is a legit star in this league that has a bad rap due to this years team. He is not a franchise player but still very good. J. Johnson is in my opinion a border line all star, again not a franchise player buy a terrific piece.

And not too many SGs are going to put up all world numbers when they share a backcourt for half the season with Tyron Lue.
It was so easy to double and triple team Joe it's not even funny
