How good would this guy have been?

Here's a comparison I thought of:

Per 36 numbers for Dwight Howard (first 4 years)

1. 13.2 pts - 11.1 reb - 1.0 stl - 1.8 blk
2. 15.4 pts - 12.2 reb - 0.8 stl - 1.4 blk
3. 17.2 pts - 12.0 reb - 0.8 stl - 1.9 blk
4. 19.8 pts - 13.5 reb - 0.9 stl - 2.1 blk

Per 36 numbers for Roy Tarpley (first 4 years)

1. 14.4 pts - 13.7 reb - 1.4 stl - 2.0 blk
2. 17.1 pts - 15.0 reb - 1.6 stl - 1.3 blk
3. 20.0 pts - 13.3 reb - 1.7 stl - 1.8 blk
4. 16.6 pts - 12.9 reb - 1.7 stl - 1.5 blk

After those four seasons of course, Tarpley flamed out. He played 5 games in year 5, then was suspended and out of the league for 3 full years. He came back at age 30 in 94/95 and put up 12.6 and 8.2 in 24.6 minutes per game before again being suspended. Such a waste of potential.

he wasn't just suspended, he was BANNED...outside of the drugs, he had some pretty bad injuries and a lingering knee injury which followed him from early on at Michigan i believe...he could have done real well outside of those 2 glaring factors...but...

Yeah, even in the four seasons I listed he missed alot of time. Played only 19 games in year 3 and 45 games in year 4. Some were suspensions, some were injuries.
