Only one appearance per player. Level of play > accumulated value. I'm going to hold off ranking them (it's almost like there's a several-way tie for first anyhow) but here are some that come to mind -- really hard to choose a single 3 year peak for some so I might be off with some, and there are plenty more besides what I'm listing:

Wilt: 66-68 (or earlier 60's?)
Oscar: 64-66
Bird: 84-86
Walton: 76-78
Kareem: 71-73 (or later in the 70's?)
Jordan: 89-91 (or mid 90's?)
LeBron: 06-08
Magic: 82-84 (or 87-89?)
Shaq: 00-02
D. Robinson: 94-96
Hakeem: 93-95 (or earlier?)
Kobe: 06-08
Garnett: 03-05
Duncan: 02-04 (or 03-05?)
Russell: 61-63
J. West: 70-72 (or earlier?)
Moses: 81-83
Dr. J: 80-82 (or 74-76 in ABA?)
Barkley: 88-90

"66-68", etc. - do you mean 2-season or 3-season peaks?

3.

So "66-68" = "65-66 + 66-67 + 67-68".
