Team H

F Scottie Pippen (prime)
F George McGinnis (prime)
C Robert Parish (prime)
G Sam Cassell (prime)
G Tracy McGrady (prime)
6 Maurice Stokes (prime)
Head coach: Doug Moe

How would this team fare against teams, such as the Celtics, Spurs, and Lakers?

Doug Moe and that kind of talent, that'd be some kind of fun! A bit turnover prone and a prime candidate for an upset but the most talented team in the league and the most likely candidate to win it all.

Think this year's Boston Celtics . . . .

That team would win the championship.

They'd win it all or fire every single member of the staff.

Fo', fo', fo'. And another fo'.

Book it.

Scottie would be the second best SF by a huge margin in today's league (at worst). Hands down the best perimeter defensive player, plus he'll chip in an efficient 22/9/6 with 3 steals.

Prime McGinnis would be a shade worse than prime Kevin Garnett.

Prime Parish would be an efficient 19/11 shotblocker. I'd have him a shade under Yao and Dwight.

And I think everyone's very familiar with prime McGrady (2003) or prime Cassell (early 2000s).

I don't know anything about Maurice Stokes, so I won't comment there.

McGinnis was a lot more Amare Stoudamire than Garnett; from what I have heard, Stokes was a 6'5 muscular rebounder . . . think Wes Unseld only with even less of a shot.

Indeed, Stokes' field goal % was 34 to 35, but he grabbed about 16 boards a game and even contributed 5 apg.

I'm very persuaded to tell a McGrady joke...but in his prime he was insane. Anything less of a championship is a disappointment
