Farmar's block was better because not only did Luke stop right under the basket to give the defender time he catch up, he also put the ball on a silver platter asking for it to be blocked. I'm pretty sure even I could have gotten the block on Walton in that situation.

Both plays show a larger offensive player who expects they have the defense beat going for the easy lay in and a defender going breakneck speeds to the other end of the floor to reject. Farmar's block was in a faster play but it was a lay in too. Price had to cover over half the court to catch up to Luke who was so far ahead of the defense he should have had enough time to build a birdhouse, make a sandwich, and do his taxes before he finished that play. Add to that the way Price was lording over the defeated pile of Walton at the end this has to go to Price for sheer audacity.

Price's block was a foul. You can't put your hand in someones back as you block the shot.

The fan reaction makes Price's block that much better.

It wasn't a foul, please stop
