Who has more value right now (pre-July 1)?

If they were traded for each other, which team would have to add to the package to make it fair?

Interesting. Kirilenko is the better player both offensively and defensively but Hinrich plays a harder position to fill and seems to have higher intangibles. It wouldn't be a huge stretch if they were traded roughly even up but probably Chicago would have to add value.

Not sure Utah is the spot for a PG/SG with good defense and decent playmaking but questionable shooting skills though.

I'd say Hinrich has more value as trade bait and more value to his own team. Though there is no way UTAH trades their starting SF for a PG that would play limited minutes behind Deron Williams. You could try Hinrich at the 2, but I wouldn't.

Before this season Hinrich was shooting great. Hinrich is obviously the better play maker, on offense production wise they will give you about 13-16 points. Both can be great 3rd options, AK is the better defender, but Hinrich is also pretty good defensively at his position to. I'd give the higher value to AK just because of his versatility, but he also has a huge contract. If it came down to selecting either, I'd go for Hinrich over AK. But value wise, it can go either way, AK has more, but only a slight more.

Funny, some feel AK has more value and some feel Hinrich.

Nobody has delved into the contracts.

Hinrich. He has a declining-scale deal.

Kirilenko is sitting at the max and his production doesn't even begin to match it.

Cliff Levingston was thinking that too.

Hinrich is the better value but AK has more value. If your payroll is the deciding factor got Hinrich. If you want the one that brings the most to the table it's AK.
