Both came out of nowhere and made big splashes in the playoffs their rookie seasons.

So... Who would you rather have for your team? Who do you think will be a better player 3-4 years from now?

Daniel Gibsons rookie stats:
Regular season-
4.6 pts 1.6 rebs 1.1 asts 0.4 stls 42% fg 42% 3pt 72% ft in 16.5 mpg.
Playoffs-
8.3 pts 1.6 rebs 1.1 asts 0.6 stls 43% fg 41% 3pt 88% ft in 20.1 mpg.

Rodney Stuckeys rookie stats:
Regular season-
7.6 pts 2.3 rebs 2.8 asts 0.9 stls 40% fg 19% 3pt 81% ft in 19.0 mpg.
Playoffs-
8.4 pts 1.8 rebs 3.5 asts 1.1 stls 38% fg 29% 3pt 88% ft in 22.4 mpg.

Daniel is a more effecient shooter, Stuckey is a better playmaker/slasher.

Not that Boobie can't put the ball on the floor, but I think his strength has been as a spot up shooter. He knocks down big shots off the play of LeBron.

Stuckey definitely needs to raise his fg%, but he has the ability to create for himself or others. I feel Stuckey has a higher ceiling and is the guy I'd rather have, but based purely on their rookie season performances I'd say which guy you take is dictated more by team needs than anything.

Gibson.

More experience and a better shooter form 3.

I like Stuckey better, though he is going to be INSANELY overrated this summer because of this series.

I'd take Stuckey pretty easily. He's the better all around player and isn't a complete chump on defense...

Stucky. He isn't the better shooter but he can do more. He is already powerful at the point & can take it to the rack fearlessly.

Boobie is up there in players I like. He steps up during the playoffs(during his rookie year). He's become injury prone and that is obviously not a good thing. Pretty much what other people said: Boobie is the better shooter, but Stuckey can create his own shot better. They are both a nice fit to their own teams needs. But I take Boobie because I know more of what he's capable of.
