Wade's best year is better than any of Clyde's years . . . better defense, equivalent offense (once you include the pace and fould drawing), plus the final MVP but . . .
Wade has only played 5 years in the league and only two of those were injury free . . . he has a LONG way to go to approach Clyde's career.

Wade's peak might be better, but he hasn't done it long enough to put him over Clyde.

who cares what about Wade's career when his peak is already better. The Q is who's the better player, not who's career is longer and more comprehensive...

Both similar players as of right now when you look at stats and how they played. Both weren't good 3 pt shooters (Clyde was later on in his career). And both were above average defenders, both have/had great play making skills, and scoring is similar.

Wade's peak is significantly better than Clyde's. Their numbers are similar because of pace; once you adjust them, Wade's numbers will be superior too.

True, Drexlar like Wade was the primary source of offense on a terrific team with the Blazers in this prime. He went to the finals twice, but never won one, arguably he was the 2nd best shooting guard in the league during his prime, behind Jordan. Which isn't saying much since Jordan was on a completely different level.

i get tired of hearing that about wade....i'll let the haters put it in their sigs...i guarantee we haven't seen the best of wade. not even close. he works too hard for anyone to ever think his best years are ahead of him at only 26 years old.

Clyde.
I'd take his prime over Wade's too.

LOL if you're going to adjust for pace, you might as well adjust for handcheck rules too.

Except that one year of course, when he did win the 'chip.

Also adjust for touch fouls.
