Chris Webber (Prime) vs. Mitch Richmond(Prime)

Who you got? Who was the better player in their primes playing for the Kings?

Mitch was great, but I have to go with Webber, the guy is just filled with chemistry. Great rebounder, scorer, passer, defense was alright, but he made up for it big time on the offensive end.

I never liked Webber, and I like richmond, but I'll take Webber here. He's in that 20/9/4 category with only elgin, wilt, cunningham, kg, and Bird. He was the best player on some awesome Kings teams.

Webber was clearly more talented, Richmond was harder working and didn't choke in the clutch, but Webber led his teams to much better records and had better numbers too
(and yet Wes Unseld traded prime Webber for past prime Richmond AND took on Otis Thorpe's bad contract too . . . sigh).

When did C-Webb ever choke? The only time he missed a game winner was Game 7 versus the T-Wolves in the W semi's I believe in 03. He missed a 27 foot three pointer that almost went in as time expired. That's not what I consider 'choking'.
I also take C-Webb as good as Mitch was.

Webber, no contest.
Mitch was nice and all but Webber hit the glass, was a dominant passer, comparable at worst as a scorer...
The only thing I can think of that even remotely resembles a pro-Mitch argument is the defensive side of things and Richmond was never Bruce Bowen. Mitch was awesome, of course, but Chris was just something else.
