Jameer easily.
Great shooter, underrated passer, clutch in the 4th, has the intangibles Foye doesn't posses.

I really like Foye and I think Foye/Mayo back court will be great.
I'll take Foye, not a fan of Jameer, especially after what he did against the Raptors!

Definitely Jameer Nelson. He does everything a point guard should do. Pass, dribble, when he does shoot he shoots it well, push the ball up the court, can control the half court game as well. He doesn't turn the ball over much either. I don't think it's a competition at all it has to be Nelson.

This is where the Jameer hate goes too far. He's been a smart, clutch, and efficient point guard, a lot more than players like Foye and Felton. Foye wasn't even an efficient player back in Villanova. He's just another combo guard. Not to mention, he's on one of the worst teams in the league.
Jameer, at least right now, is clearly better than Foye. Aside form height, Foye has nothing on Jameer.

part of the reason we were that bad b/c Foye missed half of the season due to an injury. after he returned our record was way better. I'm not saying it was b/c of Foye but if you only take the games into account Foye played in we were not one of the worst teams though we weren't good either. slightly underneath average
btw not that I don't want to discount Foye's 2nd year but coming off a long injury doesn't make a sophomore look good so I'd say we should give him at least one more season time to judge. this guy has shown some promise
as far as the topic goes, I can't judge it because I haven't seen Nelson play this season as far as I can recall. oh and I might wear some homer glasses though I don't consider myself a homer.

Huh? that's one of Foye's best qualities.
And LOL at PimpOrlando, yeah, the Magic are better because Nelson is there and not foye, nothing to do with Dwight, Hedo and Shard...
I'll take Foye, he's 6'3 212, explosive athlete, a great shooter, a clutch scorer, and he's coming along as a point guard.

Nice try, that wasn't my point at all. It was for people who go off of stats. Even though they aren't better than Jameer's to begin with.
T-Mac United wasn't saying that Foye isn't clutch, just that Jameer is too.

That's reasonable.

Jameer is plenty clutch. He hits lots of big shots, and unlike Foye, he is doing it in actual big games. Jameer is the guy to have here, but Foye has more upside.

Well complimentary players, as they both are, will look better with guys taking pressure off of them, particularly the assist stat, though Hedo does handle the ball a lot.
Foye can toss it into Al and let him create, but Minnesota isn't exactly a great place to rack up assists.
Foye is a pretty tough defender too, I like that, and he can guard 2 positions.
I wouldn't fault anyone for taking Nelson, but I would say they probably haven't seen much of Foye, but I would definitely take my chances on Foye in the future.

What does Jameer have that Foye doesn't....hmm let me think I think its Dwight Howard, Lewis, and Hedo.
Give me Foye please, I think hes the better scorer, more athletic, and the better playmaker. And also in terms of who has the better future its Foye no doubt. And T-Spot got it right on the mark with the stats he posted.
