Who, in your opinion, is the most athletic player in todays game?
Also, think of who the most athletic player of all time is.

For me it would have to be Dwight Howard.
All time I'd have to go with Wilt simply because of all the stories ive read about his athleticism.

Agility - how many basketball players could play DB, the most agility-requiring position in football, at the D-I level?

Speed - broke the Washington state record in high school for 110 meter hurdles.

Obviously everyone knows how high he can jump.

Lebron

IMO Lebron and I don't think it's really that close. Dwight is an astounding athlete but Lebron's size is very comparable and his speed combined with his jumping ability puts him in a very, very rare class.

Relatively speaking, i think that Lebron and Dwight are equally athletic.

If Shaq were still in his prime or close to his prime he would be all other contestants to shame.

LeBron and it's not really close. One of the strongest, fastest and highest jumpers in the league regardless of position. Dwight doesn't have anywhere near the fluidity that LeBron has (cutting, changing angles, aerial body control),

Yup.

Dwight is about 2 inches taller, about 10-15 pounds heavier, but he really has nothing on LeBron's speed, quickness, and every thing else that goes into being a wing. LeBron is still a better leaper and all that good stuff to. Dwight is stronger though...

all-time, I would say David Robinson, maybe with Hakeem second and Vince third.

Taking other sports into consideration, hondo, lebron, iverson, and nate all played football. Kobe, hakeem and nash played soccer. Everyone knows what wilt did. I think shaq practiced with his high school or college football team as a tight end a lil bit. I'd be scared **** if he caught the ball and i was a safety. lol

I agree with the people picking LeBron and by a good margin. There`s been players like Dwight before who have been more athletic like Shaq, Wilt and D-Rob. I`ve never seen anyone like LeBron. The guy has a PF body but moves like Tony Parker. He`s the best natural athlete I`ve seen in any sport.

LeBron is maybe the most athletic person I've ever seen, he's right up there with 80's Jordan in terms of athletecism.

The thing about LeBron is people forget that this guy is about 260 lbs and moves like a guard. Dwight Howard is a great athlete but he's no LeBron in terms of the combination of strength, coordination, quickness, speed, etc..
