Daugherty vs Gasol

Gasol is good, Daugherty was better.

bordeline All star C vs borderline All Star PF Ill take the Center 95% of the time. Daugherty would be 2nd team all NBA every yr if he played today.

Daugherty was a little bit better as a rebounder and passer. It's not like there's a huge gap between these two...

But Gasol also comes without the health concerns... Daugherty had, what, an 8-year career because of his back? Does that factor into this comparison?

I disagree on the health concerns. 3 out of the last 4 years, Gasol has played in 56, 59 and 66 games. He's had a few inury concerns of his own over the years.

Brad was able to run the floor, and he was one of the best passers among the big guy in 1985-1995.

He could post, make hook shots, and with Larry Nance coveing the paint, he seemed not so soft like Pau did in Final 2008....

Though a bette rebounder, but brad's vertical Leaping ability was terrible. So Pau's shoting-block is far better than Brad.

I think Brad was able to play in both high post and low post . But Pau? His face-up game maybe better but when he's in paint , PJ could kill him...
