That's right...top 100.
My little project is finally complete after much work. I had the team names next to each player, and comments but they wouldnt fit in this post properly.
A lot of tweaking was done since I started this list about a week ago, but I like it how it is now.
What do you think? Who's overrated? Who's underrated...etc.

Well, I didnt really have a set criteria for ranking them. For the star caliber players (top 20+) I guess its their ability to be the #1 option on a championship team.
For the next tier, its their ability to be the #2, then #3, then role players on championship teams.
I factored in age to an extent, but its mostly just a rank of how prominent a role players can play on a championship team.
Contracts were not factored in at all.

Al Jefferson is incredibly too low.
Josh Smith is too low. Same as Aldridge.
You can't possibly think someone like Lamar Odom is better than all of those guys.

Lamar Odom
Hedo Turkoglu
Michael Redd
Antawn Jamison
Andre Iguodala
Andre Miller
Some guys who wouldn't be the best player on the Pistons. Especially Andre Miller.

The one that stuck out to me first.
37 Antawn Jamison
38 Lamar Odom
39 Hedo Turkoglu
40 Richard Hamilton
41 Chauncey Billups
42 Rasheed Wallace
I'd prefer Rasheed Wallace over Antawn Jamison. I also find it odd that Richard Hamilton, CB and Rasheed Wallace all ended right after one another.

I can gather that the asteriks mean they're hurt and that's why they're there. Otherwise Wade, Arenas, and Brand are too low. But I'm not sure Bynum is 34 even when healthy, let alone hurt, so that's weird.
I think Artest is too low and how can you have a list including J.R. Smith but not have Ben Gordon? That's just weird.

So if you ranked the top 20 on ability to be the #1 option on a championship level team, why is Wade ranked #11, especially with Dirk of all people ranked ahead of him? I'd put Wade at 5. He had a down year for his standards, but when healthy is he most definetely a top 5 player in this game.

Yeah the asteriks indicate that theyre injured and ranked lower because of it. I'm really high on Bynum. If he's healthy, I think he belongs in the top 30 when you factor in how young he is.
I'm not a big Ben Gordon guy. He might belong somewhere on the list, but I just cant see the guy ever contributing to a championship caliber team in the NBA. I like J.R. Smith's upside and he seems to have a fire to him that Gordon lacks.

Injuries...the asteriks next to his name mean that he's injured and ranked lower because of it. I should have mentioned that in my earlier post.
I actually had comments that went along with this, and Wade's comment was "if he's at full strength, I'd have him at #4".

Mike Colney is not 100 lol, guy didn't even make the rookie team, actually Carl Landry who played in only 40 games, while injured made it before him.
