Agree with everyone above. As of right now it's hard to argue against the top 5 being Kobe, Duncan, Garnett, LeBron and Paul.

Yes and I think you have him rated too low. Paul is top 3.

On the basis of his play last season, you could argue he's top 3.

LeBron, Kobe, Wade, Paul.

So yeah, I have him fourth, assuming Wade returns healthy.

That would depend on how you define top 5.

If it is by value, then maybe.

I think that he is in the neighbourhood, but I would probably take Wade, LeBron, Kobe, Howard, Garnett, Duncan, and maybe Ginobili over him. He's definitely at least in the conversation, but I wouldn't call him a lock yet.

Paul>>>Wade ... i think Wade needs to prove it first, its been 1 and a half years since he played like a superstar.

Wade played pretty well when he was in the lineup, and he was playing hurt. Still not sure I'd take him over paul though.

The answer is yes though. I would also put him top 3. In no particular order: Paul, Kobe, Lebron.

judging by last years play, and assuming he'll get even better, he'll be top 5 for a long time.
Manu Ginobili:

* Italian League Championship: 2001
* Italian Cup: 2001, 2002
* Euroleague: 2001
* Americas Championship: 2001
* NBA Championship: 2003, 2005, 2007
* Summer Olympic Games gold medal: 2004

GINOBLI?!?!? MANU GINOBLI?!?!?!

Paul 23 y.o., just came off arguably MVP season (runner-up in voting.) and led what many believe to be a team of role players to the 2nd seed in the West and 7 games against the defending champs.

Manu 30 y.o., and while coming off a very good year was injuried frequently throughout it including the playoffs.

You're telling me that you think Manu is potentially a better player then Chris Paul? and even more crazily has greater value?

The **** these Spurs fans smoke must be lethal.

Of course Chris Paul is a top 5 player. He plays the game it's meant to be played by getting his teammates involved and scoring when needed. And he does it all at a very efficient level.
