Andre Iguodala vs. Kevin Martin
Who is better? Who would you rather have on your team?
Disclaimer: Sorry if this has already been done, not usually on this board.

I'd have Kevin Martin on the Raptors, he gets to the line more and shoots at a much higher percentage, something the Raptors could definitely need from the wing

Kevin Martin. He is scary efficient offensively.

Kenyon Martin is rolling over in his grave.
And I'd also take Martin because his efficiency on offense is crazy. Over his 3 years he's averaging 15.4 points on 46.5% 38% 84%. And averages just over 1 turnover. That's scary good.

1. Kevin Martin (though I wanna see how he does on a real team)
2. Andre Iguodala (need a defender and second option next to Wade, not a scorer)

KMart = KENYON Martin
But if we're talking about Kevin Martin vs. Iggy, I take Kevin Martin easily. I'm a huge fan of Kevin Martin's game, the guy is a ridiculously efficient scorer. He was 7th in the NBA in terms of PPG last year, with an incredible TS% of .618. To put that into perspective, Michael Jordan's highest ever TS% was .614 (in 88/89), and Kobe's highest ever was .580 (in 06/07). Kevin Martin also had a TS% of .614 in 06/07, and .604 in 05/06, so last year was no fluke. He's a machine when it comes to getting to the line, with 9.5 fta/g in 07/08 (which put him 5th in the NBA in terms of fta/g, ahead of guys like Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant, Amare Stoudemire, Chris Bosh, etc. He was 1st in the league in terms of ftm/g, with 8.2).

That's a misconception around here. Martin doesn't scores only. He is actually an above-average defender. He uses his quickness and length to harass the opponent. But to be honest, he is an inconsistent defender. Being our major offensive threat (Outside of Artest) he can't be a good defender and an elite scorer at the same time. But at times, he looks like a superstar. He has shown promise in the passing aspect. Even though, statistics doesn't shows it but he has a good awareness for a SG. He usually does his "drive and kick out" to the open man. Even though, he has the full package on offense, he still lacks a turnaround shot in the post. He needs that option to be truly a nightmare to defenders (Even though, he is though the league

) I wouldn't be surprise if he averages 25/5/4 next year with good percentages. Knowing that he is a gym rat and has said that he will improve his weaknesses over the offseason, I would expect that.
Martin has sign a 5 year contract that is worth $55 million. The Kings has sign Martin at a bargain price. He has earned every penny of that contract. I'm not sure how much Roy will sign but I think it should be close to Martin's deal. But if Roy blows up next year, he will sign close or at a max contract.

defender:iggy
playmaker:iggy
rebounder:iggy
shooter:martin
athleticism:iggy
=>i would rather have iggy for almost any team in the league except ...Phila..yes i really belive Iggy is a better overall player but i would trade him for Martin because we really need a good shooter

I'll take Kevin for his off the ball game in NO, his efficiency would be outrageous in our offense, and he's a better defender than Mo-Pete, so our already elite defense isn't going to drop off, it will probably get better.

Problem is K-Mart needs to improve his defense and Iggy needs to improve his offense, and i would think that Iggy would be able to improve his imperfection faster, still though, K-Mart is a scorer and i would take him, hoping that my other guard and SF are sound defenders

Dang. A Paul/Martin backcourt. That could be one of the best, if not the best, backcourt in the NBA. I actually never thought of a Paul/Martin combo. Martin's off ball abilities/scoring would extremely compliments Paul's overall game.

I've been dreaming about that backcourt for the longest. Paul would make Martin ridiculously good. I think he'd put up even more points while being more efficient.

Kevin for the W's.
Ellis, Martin and Biedrins would be SCARY efficient on offense.
