This is mine.....

Lebron James 31.1 ppg
Kobe Bryant 29.8 ppg
Carmello Anthony 29.1 ppg
Gilbert Arenas 28.5 ppg
Vince Carter 28.1 ppg

**Hate on Vince all you want, but with no RJ he's good for atleast 5 more ppg**

Replace Carter with Wade, I'm a big Carter fan, but he's never averaged 28 points in his entire career.

LeBron
Kobe
Wade
Carmelo

The fifth is really a toss-in. I agree Vince's scoring will go up, but not that much. T-Mac chucks from deep too much to make it back into the scoring title race. Arenas is back, but coming off knee surgery, he just got paid, and he's with two other 20ppg scorers. Kevin Martin has an outside shot. He's scary efficient and there's nobody else on the kings to handle playmaking. So I'm gonna go with a scary efficient scorer (60% FG, 28% DrawF) who took less than 12 shots per game last year:

Dwight Howard

He averaged 27.6 ppg in his third season. If he gets back to around 7 FTA/g and can shoot 40% from three again, getting 20-ish FGA/g or more, then he could definitely do it.

It's definitely possible, but I just wouldn't count on it.

I'd be ecstatic if he was able to, it'd prove all the doubters and haters wrong. He's seriously probably the most underrated player in the league right now.

Can't believe no one has Kevin Martin in their list.

Especially since Artest will most likely be traded, Kevin Martin will definitely be in the top 5. He was top 6 this year (or 7th if you include Wade)

I just think that with Devin Harris who is a great young PG and with the prospects of The Nets having to decide whether they want Vince in their future plans with Lebron or not, its going to make him play hard everyday cuz im sure he would like to be in Brooklyn and play with LBJ and Devin Harris

I think James, Kobe, Wade and Melo are locks for the top 5. It's the 5th spot that's difficult to predict. Maybe Iverson? Carter? T-Mac? Or a big like Dwight or Amare?

I like VC as much as the next guy but its unlikely that he'll average 28 points.
Lebron, Kobe, Melo, Wade, Iverson

Damn, I thought I'd be the first to mention Kevin Martin!

My list is:
1. LeBron James
2. Kobe Bryant
3. Carmelo Anthony
4. Allen Iverson
5. Kevin Martin

I feel like Kevin Martin will put up roughly 25ppg. I see Wade scoring a little less than in the past (23-24ppg), because he'll be taking less shots on a team with Beasley, Marion, Haslem and Chalmers.

I also see Amare in the 26ppg or more next season. He might crack the top 5.

I don't think Kobe will score that much when he has Bynum, Gasol and Odom on the same team. Not saying they are great scorer, but having so many options offensively I doubt Kobe will top 28ppg.
So my ranking is:
LeBron

Melo
Arenas/Dirk/Amare/Kobe/AI

I wouldn't count on it either, I'm just noting that it's possible and that he's been within 0.4 ppg of of scoring 28 a night before, that's all. I'd be more inclined to expect him to shoot 35, 36% from 3 and score 24-26 ppg.

Neither of you were the first to mention Kevin Martin. I was. :P

I don't think that Dwight has a chance. He's just not a volume scorer.

I still think he'll lead the league is TS% but in terms of PPG, no chance he's top 5 with some of the chuckers in the league.
