Which team would benefit the most playing in the opposite conference and which team would suffer the most playing in the opposite conference?

The suns would benefit the most. They've always been good at beating up on inferior teams. Last season, they lost only six times to East teams.

The Knicks would be hurt the most. They had like 3 wins last year against the West. The Nets are next. They went .500 vs the East, but only 8-22 vs the West.

The Jazz, they play the top eastern conference teams better then they do the West. If they were in the East they'd press for 60 wins every year.

Any of the fringe playoff teams out west would benefit from playing in the EC (Denver, GSW, Portland, Clippers).

Any of the terribads out east would benefit from going west because they would probably lose more games playing 2/3rds WC teams instead of 1/3

Wolves would make the playoffs pretty easily in the east with their current lineup.

Don;t the Cavs do well against the West?

They might make it, but not easily. They weren't better than the Hawks last year, and the east SHOULD be even better next year. They'd be around the 8-11 seed though

That's doubtful. Are they really better than the Hawks (provided they resign Josh Smith)? Are they even better than the Bobcats (with Okafor)?

The Wolves were just as bad against the East last year; Love improves the team a bit, but by a dozen or more wins? They'd max out at 30-32 wins in either conference, IMO.

We also have Mike Miller now, who seems to be a forgotten man in the trade.

We re-signed all of the free agents that we wanted and got rid of the negatives (Jaric,Buckner,Walker)

^ Still not enough to easily make the playoffs. They'd make a run at it probably, but not this year. Within the next 2 for sure though.
