Where does Yao Ming rank in the league?

Is he top 5? Top 10? Top 15? Top 20? etc

It depends on if you consider health as a factor in how good a player is. If you don't, he's top 10. If you do, he falls a bit, but I think he stays in the top 15.

Yeah, if it weren't for the health factor he'd be right up in the top 10, but I'd put him around 15 or so, just because of his consistent injury related problems that hes been having for the past 3 years.

Number 1

I think I have him in the lower end of my top 10, I think there is a clear top 6, then Nash and Nowitzki, then he's right in the group after that.

I see him between 8-13. Health is a factor, but I am trying not to consider that. I don't think he ever has been, or ever will be, in the top 5.

Injuries have stopped him from achieving the success he should have, but I think that can mostly be attributed to fatigue from playing with the Chinese National Team.

Maybe now that the Olympics are over, Yao will get a chance to rest during the summer and heal up properly before taking in a full season.

First tier: Lebron, Cp3, Kobe, KG, Duncan, Wade
Seconds tier: Nash, Dwight Howard, Deron Williams, Yao Ming, Tracy Mcgrady, Paul Pierce, Amare Stoudemire, Norwitzki

Yao is anywhere between 8-14. Personally i'd have him in the low 10's when healthy.

CP3 and Wade are not in the same level as Duncan, LeBron or KG... You just made yourself look like the biggest idiot.

However... I do think that Yao Ming is not in Tracy's level... If Healthy... Yao Ming could be borderline that upper tier.. No kidding... he is the ultimate scoring machine when used correctly.

Probably top 10, no worse than top 15. I'd be happy with him as my franchise player.
