I agree with what Tsherkin said. The Lakers would either be the same or better with Wade.

you can't make this type of comparison on the lakers since they are already a top 2 team. do they improve to #1 or stay at #1? big deal. a better question is if you put Kobe on the Heat are they a better team? I don't think so, but Kobe would definitely put up spectacular numbers. Maybe not in all the categories Wade does it, but he could avg more ppg I think.

Is it lost on anyone that Kobe is playing this season with three fingers on his shooting hand? Furthermore, is it lost on anyone that he's been doing this for the last two years? Put Kobe on the Heat and they'd have the same record they do now. Put Wade on the Lakers and they'd have the same record they have now.

While were at it.

Durraant would make all three teams better if he were to replace any of them.

it will never end.

kobe has a better shot, but its not liek dwade CANT shoot
dwade can drive better, but its not like kobe CANT attack

this year..wades defense has just been better than kobe. kobe seems to rely too much on help defense..i would say the lakers would be better this year with wade.

I'll tell you the answer after the postseason is over. Right now, it's tough to tell whether Kobe is taking it easy, or age has caught up to him.

Wade is extremely ball dominant. Wade's game would have to completely change.

Also Wade doesn't guard the top offensive perimeter player like Kobe does. Is he going to do that with the Lakers. If so his steal and block numbers take a hit. If not the Lakers overall defense will not be as good.

Worse... just as the Heat would be worse with Kobe instead of Wade.

i see the type of games Kobe has had in wins lately..even w/o Bynum theres a lot of room for error on a team that talented..i say as good or better.

I think we'd be worse. For all the crap Kobe gets about teammates, he's always maximized his teammates efficiency over the years. Gasol is way more efficient now than he used to be before joining the Lakers, and same with Odom for instance.

Well, I can give you the answer after this game, and the answer is yes, but only because Kobe is playing as badly as a player of his caliber possibly could(the injuries appear to be really taking their toll now.)

Yeah, it seems like he only has to show up for one half lately and we still win. Not this one though, didn't even show up for one quarter.

of the two, Wade and Kobe, Wade's game is the most similar to that of Jordan, that is why Wade would be alot better than Kobe in running the Triangle.

in addition, Kobe is allergic to passing, but has better teammates. so Wade and the Lakers numbers would way up if Wade was on the Lakers.

Significantly better, specifically in the playoffs. Wade this year is better than Kobe has ever been. 8-)
