Jack's easily one of the most underrated players in the league. His reputation and low FG% weigh heavy on peoples' minds, disproportionately to the other aspects of his game...

Casual fans who don't watch him play and just look at percentages and turnovers shouldn't throw stones. Look at his other numbers then, like the fact he's a 6'8 player who averaged 6.5 assists a game last year and made more difficult assists than any other principal playmaker in the entire league...

Or the fact he can score from literally any spot on the floor, in any situation...

The age argument is only relevant in terms of his contract, especially given the extension made it a long-term one. That's a whole different discussion, however. He wasn't slowing down last year... His last full month was a 27/6/8 month on good percentages, and this season he'll come in healthy for the first time in 2+ years.

LeBron James
Dwyane Wade
Chris Paul

Do the aforementioned 3 require less?

Any time Stephen Jackson is taking 17 shots a game you might as well pencil his team into the lottery...

The Warriors were a markedly better team last season when Jack took 17 shots or more.

Eh... The Warriors had a winning % of 36% in games Jackson played in, while they had a winning % of 35% in games he missed this year.

His chucking really wasn't affecting the bottom line.

Jackson easily. The only things JR Smith has on him is his jumpshot and athletism
