Nets receive a useful shooter, but that's not why they do it. This gives them $4,300,000 in extra cap space next season.

Wrong board, but...

Dooling has a partially guaranteed contract in 2010, to the tune of 500K. This doesn't save NJ a substantial amount of money and we lose a prospect for nothing.

I am not opposed to trading CDR and Dooling, but it must provide a long term upgrade.
Korver is resignable, but he will likely cost more then what he is worth in relation to NJ's plans and truthfully he is likely to be an available FA in the offseason for nothing more then money.
