Our backs are against the walls. We're forced to have a tighter rotation. Simplified offense.

My prediction: Trae, Dejounte and Collins are gonna ball out tonight.

Halftime: ATL leading 55-51

Good first half, except the last 3min. ATL were leading 51-39, Hunter made his 3rd foul so Nate replaced him by J. Holiday, and yes, he scored one more 3pts, but the defense was not the same at all and PHI came back with a 12-4

Holiday got congratulations at the half for his 13pts, but:
when playing with Hunter, ATL were +10pts in 15min
when playing with Holiday, ATL were -5pts in 12min

3rd quarter: we played better and increased a bit the lead with Hunter, then Holiday came back and PHI are dominating once again
ATL 81-81 PHI

ATL now at -11pts in less than 17min with J. Holiday
I can't wait to see Bogi coming back and taking all Holiday's minutes

Nate out, for sure.
But I don't see why Collins should be out after tonight game. They were dominating with him.
The only problem tonight is having to play Holiday, and being -13pts with him. It was a disaster with him (except for his individual stats)

And I don't know why Trae send this alley-oop to John, pretty sure he wanted to re-do the same they did in playoffs, but there was a simpler thing to do at this moment of the game.
Except this point, Trae was good, he finish with a negative +/- just because he shared more time with Holiday than the other guys

Disappointing results after leading. Our front office needs to do better with the product they put together.

The idiotic free throw play at the end of the game.

The problem is the Zone. We are struggling when teams deploy it. We aren't shooting well enough from 3 to bust it and Nate has no Offensive design sets to get the ball swinging and inside vs the zone.

The other issue is, the pace they played with in the 1st half, slowed to a snails pace in the 4th - walking the ball up the court gives Philly more time to set the zone - force the issue by getting the ball up court quickly even if you pull it back out. This is a very bad 4th quarter habit. Nate's ball control offense.

Ohhh... this. How many times I saw Trae letting the ball roll to get the 24s starting at mid-court... in the middle of 4th quarter.
When game is close and near the end, it's different, but with 6min left, it just gives the defense time to be ready, and it's completely stupid when you're better in transition than everything else. Most of the time, it ends with a missed shot.

Another thing I saw one or two times in this game, and already saw in the previous ones: we have 1.5 or 6s left in a quarter, in-bounding the ball, and Trae receives it and make a dribble until the clock sound. Then, no shot, or one shot but once time is expired.
If he doesn't want to decrease his 3pts FG%, then give it to another player, and shoot the ball! You never know what will happen, if you're lucky in this game, it's 3pts more and the end might be different.

This team is weak and changes need to be made. Our front office has been unprofessional with the Collins situation and they have made mistake after mistakes with the draft. Coach was a nice change for the team during a cancerous situation but he's not the guy to lead us.

Biggest lead of the game was by Atlanta by 16 points. Philly 3 points.

Philly beat us in points and the pain and fast break points.

Nate is Woodson 2.0, the guy just crosses his arm and glazes into a wonderland while the team can't adjust when the other coach changes his game plan. Not sure what they are waiting on with this current staff. The two main guards just have way too much usage among them right now.

Yes, it's stupid to hit this FT, but I'm not sure it's what he wanted to do, I got the feeling he was trying to hit the back of the rim to get the ball coming back straight to him

I don't consider it a big mistake because IMO, the main problem is ending up in this situation, which should have been avoid if Nate coaching was better. We can't really argue on the last one, two or three plays in a game when it should be already won if everything
is correctly done before.

In fact, Nate did a 2007 Finals Mike Brown decision: LeBron got early fouls in several games and Brown was afraid of that and bench him a long time. When he came back, they were better, coming back in the game but... he came back too late.
Nate did exactly the same thing with Hunter in this game, and instead of coming him back sooner, he played Holiday and ATL were completely dominated with him.
In the end, Hunter, who his 3rd foul in the first half, finished the game with... 3 fouls
