OFFICIAL: Hawks and Quin Snyder agree to 5 year contract as coach

Donovan Mitchell attributes much of his NBA success to two people: Quin Snyder and Johnnie Bryant.

Mitchell had a full-circle moment on Tuesday as the Cavs lost to the Hawks, seeing Snyder on the other side of the floor.

“I owe him a lot,” Mitchell said. “I’m forever grateful of Quin Snyder. He’s a hell of a coach and is going to have a lot of success here in Atlanta."

Mitchell’s mother, Nicole, was also at Tuesday’s game. Afterward, the three of them stood with their arms around one another and took a moment together.

Great to hear. I kind of assumed Donovan free to not have a good relationship with Coach due to all of the drama in Utah.
