Is it though? Or are they targeting the players said to be most available?
We don't know which other players they may have called and asked about and the answer from the other team is 'no interest in trading our player'
Jay, did I say "I'm sure they are doing..." or "it looks like" ?
From the Murray trade, they have mainly traded for an All Star and to lower the payroll, with the exception of Bey, no move like getting Bamba who signed with PHI for the minimum for example. Yes, it's possible they tried, but what I see since one year looks like moves to absolutely stay under the Tax and trying to get a "big 3" at the same time.

Talent wins, if you are giving up picks/assets, you want higher end talent/stars to fit with the one star you already have. Guys like Bamba are to round out your bench not your initial focus.
