Well that sucks. Pretty sure that puts us closer to play-in territory.

We are literally in play-in territory right now. We have lost the last 6 straight and the schedule doesn't get easier.

I'm disappointed for Jalen. Kid worked his tail off to get in this position.

I'll bet he's glad he signed that fat, long term extension ahead of the season.

As far as the team goes, there is some upside. We get to see exactly what we have in Mo Gueye, Dom Barlow and Zacch Risacher.

We have DeAndre Hunter who seems up to the task of absorbing extra usage.

Things just got tougher, but the sky hasn't fallen just yet.

1. Jalen seems to have lingering, recurring injuries every year -- we need a Plan B long term.

2. De'Andre Hunter has to start now, right?

3.

  • Bobby Portis is rumored to be available in trade.
  • Julius Randle could be an option.
  • Or Kyle Anderson.
  • Or Marvin Bagley.
  • Or Bojan Bogdanovic.
  • Would Jaime Jaquez, Jr. be a possibility?

4. Having a 7 foot PF like Kyle Filipowski would be useful about now...

Atlanta is toast, burnt toast.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

True. I was hopeful JJ would be able to come back and keep us in the running for the top 6 in the east.

Trading one of our nobodies and a SRP for Nick Richards would be useful too

Unfortunately we have one of the worst FO in the NBA

Going to be a long while before we get to see JJ on the court again. Hope he comes back stronger than ever

Nick Richards will be successful if he just does as KD says. He's a diamond and we missed out.
