Re-enactment of Hawks front office personnel when opposing teams even mention Dyson Daniels's name in trade talks...

We have already looked to trade Trae in the past. It could very well be us that made the call.

I think any past conversations went more so as "let's see what a Trae Young trade would actually look like" vs " We gotta move this guy ASAP".

DJM being traded instead kinda supports that. If the market suggested there was more to gain by trading Trae, he very well might've been the one traded. Since it was DJM, I believe teams weren't offering enough beyond what DJM got us that would satisfy the value request to trade Trae.

Teams are probably constantly checking in on Trae to see if there is some kind of buy low trade that can be had ala Sacramento looking for a PGOTF.

We also 'know' Sac is also checking in on Garland.

Just need to convice Trae to extend for $45M a year...or less. FAcy likely wouldn't get him more

Let me live in the moment of fake news.

We all know Trae will be a Hawk next season. Leading the league in turnovers, shooting 40%, and still not able to dunk. $60m per year in the near future.

...and still leading the league in assists and running one of the best offenses despite his teammates missing white open shot after shot andvcarrying the weight of the Hawks franchise that's done nothing to put high end talent WITH him.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
