Asa was solid again. For Bufkin its looking bleaker and bleaker on having an NBA career.

The fact that the coaching staff had Bufkin play all 4 Summer League games ahead of his third NBA season ain't a good sign.

It's clear they were looking to see something from him that just didn't show enough in the first couple of games.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him moved this summer in trade. :(

May be they are showing him to the rest of the league.
The Suns need a PG desperately, for example.

I like what I saw in Dujrisic and Newell, taking into account that one was a year with no ball and the other is a rookie.

Onsi's latest QnA with the AJC on Kobe:

Q: How do you envision Kobe kind of evolving and taking what he’s learned from Summer League into the regular season?

A: I think the biggest thing for Kobe is just playing. I believe he’s only played 27 NBA games. So, he’s had some bad luck with injuries and trying to figure that out and get back. But he just needs to play. And I wouldn’t really position him for (backup point guard). That’s not my job to determine minutes and things like that for anybody.

But I think he’s done a good job of just playing and competing and doing things. People look at the points and things like that and the assists, but he’s playing winning basketball again, and that is biggest thing that we look for this Summer League. And I’m really happy with his development.

I don't disagree that Kobe just hasn't played enough basketball, has spent more time rehabbing than developing his skills.
No denying that he can still be traded with the plethora of guards currently on the roster.

Spoiler:
I have no idea what to take from that exchange.

(Nice pull BTW.)

Simmer League Title Game MVP

Kon Knueppel finished Sunday’s win over the Kings with 21 points (8-of-21 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, two assists and four three-pointers.
While Knueppel started slowly in Las Vegas, the lottery pick’s play was a key reason why the Hornets won their first summer league title. He led the Hornets in scoring on Sunday and was also effective as a rebounder, a constant for Knueppel throughout the team’s five games. Once the regular season begins, he should fit well within an offense headlined by LaMelo Ball, Miles Bridges and Brandon Miller. As a rookie, Knueppel will likely be a player who possesses a high floor in fantasy basketball, but his ceiling may be limited.

I'm glad Kon's in our division. I'm intrigued to see which of he and Liam McNeeley emerge as the top shooting prospect on this Hornets squad. Seems like Liam, Kon and Brandon Miller could really push each other in terms of shooting prowess and overall scoring efficiency.

That team just need to move on from LameLo.
