The Silver Lining

Post#1 » by LL Cool Scott » Tue Jan 29, 2008 4:44 am

What I've come to embrace to keep my sanity in this season of absurd ups and downs is that these close losses are possibly a good thing. It makes it more and more likely that Woodson does not get a new contract after this current one runs out. It also makes it more likely that continued public pressure will lead to the ouster of Billy Knight as well. If we were to bring in a visionary GM, one that could make even COMPETENT personnel decisions - this team could have a bright future. And if we could bring in a competent coach that actually plays to this roster's strengths, again - the future could be bright. This team is not anywhere close to competing this year - so I think the best thing for our long term future is the ouster of these albatrosses and a new GM and coach that could take this talented nucleus to the next level.

Just do what I do. Approach every game as though they are going to lose, that way if they win you will be happy and if the lose you wont be disappointed.

Don't keep your hopes up LL. I think a lot of us have been waiting for an oust of Woody and/or BK well before this season with nothing happening

LL with a "silver lining" thread? I thought I'd never see the day.
