He would come cheap and a balanced trade could make both teams incredible.

The Grizz board didn't seem opposed to a AJ and Chil for Lowry and Stro deal. That doesn't really mean much but still...
Conley is the real deal, he's gonna be a legit star in the league. I'd think that if we offered them a package that had something they valued they might bite... Its not like they need to win now.

Where is the link to this discussion? I couldn't find anyone saying they would do this deal.

Like I said, doesn't really mean much. Only one person responded but no one said it was ridiculous.
I think Memphis would like to keep him but Mike Jr. looks like a star and Lowry won't be the starter for that team. If they can get a player they think will be better for them, I don't see why they wouldn't do it. If they don't like the offer then they have no reason to trade him.

The Grizz have some really nice young pieces. I think they need to deal Lowry becaue he is still a sought after guy. If they just keep him there as a backup PG his value will fall.
That's a playoff team next year I think. MCJ and Gay are both going to be stars (you could argue Gay already is). And I think Navarro has a chance to be a good scorer once he gets acclamated to the NBA game.

I think the Grizzlies should keep both point guards. It's hard enough to get one point guard..having two is a luxury in the NBA. I also think the Grizzlies will continue to suck in the future. Just about every core player on their team is a horrible defender and they play in the West. If they draft Mayo,Rose,or Gordon...nothing will change. DeAndre Jordan would be a perfect pick for them IMO. Joey Dorsey(who plays for the undefeated Memphis college bball team) would also help them alot as an early 2nd round pick.

Their point guard positions are the only positions that defend well(conley is okay, Lowery is a really good defender). It wouldnt hurt to make a run at Lowery, but at the same time, i don't think they are just going to give him away for a draft pick or a deep bench player. They will want someone that can contribute.
