Nice win. But I am worried.

We WILL NOT get where we want to if JJ doesn't change something and now. I really don't want to sound like a broken record and I know I whine about him every game. But he has been bad all season long. He has now played six TERRIBLE games in a row. I'm glad we won but we can beat the Nets just by running up and down because they are lazy and don't want to run with us. In the close games, JJ has to be the guy that separates us. And he doesn't look anywhere close to being a guy that can do that.

Okay enough of my JJ criticism. IV played his best game of the season tonight. And I had to join in with all the "play IV, Woody" people when he sat most of the 3rd qtr. Smoove was his usual self, hustling and stuffing the stat sheet. Zaza looked better on defense, but he doesn't have a clue offensively anymore. Great game from Chillz, he should always have that many dunks when the opponent is going to be lazy.

It is obvious that JJ is hurting. This from Marvin tonight

"I don't know how Joe played on that thing [during the Western Conference road trip]," Williams said. "It's unbelievable that he was able to get up and down the floor with this injury, because I'm feeling it right now."

We don't know how bad JJ he clearly isn't himself.

I apologize to Vegas for doubting their line. Obviously, they knew more about the sorry state of the Nets than I did.

Feb 3rd Divisonal Games:

Los Angeles @ Washington

Kobe must be really happy because he's laying it on Washington right now.

It's those legs I tell you. That's why contenders will only be favored to beat teams like Minnesota when coming off a back to back.

From the looks of it Kidd is THRILLED to be in NJ. Honestly, I don't know how he can be upset about Vince Carter's lack of passion when he looks like he's about to fall asleep half the time.

Anyway, that is the way the Atlanta Hawks should look literally every single game. They make teams look really old, a point guard would help push the pace quite a bit but guys like Acie and Josh Smith do a suprisingly good job handling the ball up the court. Smith has gotten a lot better at grabbing a D rebounding and taking it up court if the outlet isn't there.

We can make teams look like that if they're lazy. We started to run and the NEts just didn't want to because they are lazy.

Well the Nets are lazy but we have run teams that aren't lazy off the floor too. The Blazers aren't lazy and they couldn't touch us when we ran (they murdered us when we didn't though).

Acie and the Joshes had some nice connections by the way. When Smith is moving towards the hoop with the ball, he is the only guy that can stop him... too strong and athletic to slow down, you just have to hope he throws the ball off his foot or tries to lay it in instead of dunk it.
