Offensively, he has a midrange jumper that isn't terrible for a big. Last season he showed a knack for getting to the line, he had a pretty good rate of free throws. He doesn't convert particularly well though because he is short and not super explosive. He needs a tough guy kind of coach to give him a role at the NBA level because it seems like BK told him his role was going to be fairly significant.

The Bucks have a tough guy coach but very few tough players, that's why I think we'd value Williams more than most teams.

I'm really hoping for a Mo Williams based trade w/the Hawks now. What do you guys think we'd need to give up for a package of Josh Childress, Sheldon Williams, and Anthony Johnson?

How much would you guys give up for a package of Mo Williams, Charlie Villanueva, and Dan Gadzuric? What if gadz isn't included, or if the Bucks are willing to take on Speedy Claxton to get you guys to take him?

The BYC costs make it very difficult to come up with a match. The 3 guys you ask for add up to 9.665M which means the most salary we can take back is a little over 12.2M. At the same time the least you could send out is about 7.6M. Mo Williams counts as 7.75 to us and 3.375. The contracts that would work in that situation are Ruffin, Villanueva, and Ivey. I don't believe we would do that deal.

The package of Mo Williams, Charlie Villanueva, and Jake Voskuhl could be Josh Childress, Shelden Williams, Ty Lue, and Salim Stoudamire. Lue and Salim are expiring.

Another combination that may be considered is Mo Williams, Charlie V, and Desmond Mason for Josh Childress, Shelden Williams, Lo Wright, and Ty Lue. That combination is less likely in my eyes though because Mason has another year on his contract whereas Voskuhl is expiring.

Nothing would work out with Gadzuric. The salary is too big and too long.
