OT - Are more players asking for trades?

I was just curious, are more players asking for trades these days or is it just the nature of the Internet that reporting is much more extensive? There seem to be a couple stories each day.

The Jerome James story makes me suspect it is the Internet. I mean back in the day I don't recall reading that Jon Konchak ever saying play me or trade me.

Not to get too philisophical on you, but its probably a combination of the two. Players know they get more visibility because of the presence of TV and internet and act accordingly.
