Rob and Big

Post#1 » by evildallas » Thu Jan 24, 2008 12:17 am

I was channel hopping and caught a few minutes of Rob and Big on MTV.

They have a turtle they named Speedy Claxton.

I laughed. Just wanted to share.

Why? Did they just pick the first Speedy to come to mind or is there more to it?

I didn't get to watch all the show the other day it came on, but it was pretty fun. Turtles are very fast when they have a reason to be.

It's 2:50 am and I should have been to bed a couple of hours ago but I'm watching this mini Rob and Big marathon and this episode came on. When the turtle slid down the stairs I was laughing so hard.

Rob and Big is one of the best shows on t.v. (#1 being lost).

As a side note why hasn't Speedy had his surgery yet? If he really was intent on resuming his career you would think he would have surgery as soon as possible.

Maybe he will retire after all. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Those are both solid shows. But The Wire kills them both - if you don't have HBO, go rent the first season and you'll be amazed.

Tell em, LL. The Wire is the best show on TV and it's not even close.
