Dear Shelden,

The deal sending you and other teammates to Sacramento for Micheal Bibby has just been made official. Don't be sad, big boy, its better for you. You received a crap load of criticism here, and the pressure of being drafted 5th overall simply overwhelmed what you could bring to this organization. And, as you probably know, coach Woodson is quite **** and you got benched more often than you should of. Best of luck in Sacto.

It's sad to say, but what I will miss to most from having you in Atlanta is that it'll be hard to find another player who we could call "Sperm Whale."

Go prove the NBA who you trully are: The LandLord!

I hope he does well. Our anger wasn't really directed at him(he didn't draft himself)..it was directed at Billy Knight. He was brought into a bad situation with too much expectations but atleast he didn't seem like a bad guy. I think the change of scenery will help him.

Alright Shelden. now all the success in Sactown. please show everyone what you can do, maybe then the ASG will understand the incompetence of your former coach.

I don't think he'll ever be as good as Horford is now, but he can be a decent NBA player. I'm glad he's going, we got a ton of value for him considering how sad his numbers have been.

Dear Shelden,

I've been as hard on you as anyone. Too late to apologize for that. I wish you only the best in Sacramento. Make the best of this opportunity. I want you to prove that Mike Woodson is an idiot because he couldn't figure out how to get you on the court (or at least that he quit trying). Please don't become the next Carlos Boozer though. If that happened I couldn't stand dealing with Billy Knight's ego getting any larger because he drafted you.

good luck Shelden, Id say good luck to Salim too, both of them can really benefit from being in Sactown. and admittedly I really like T-Lue and Lo has grown on me too. So good luck to all.

No.

Anthony Johnson, Tyronn Lue, Shelden Williams, Lorenzen Wright
and 2008 second round draft pick sent to Sacramento to complete trade.
