According to the official Hawks release, Bibby will replace Tyronn Lue with the number 10 jersey.

This is a great move :bowdown:

Now we must focus in on getting the roster to at least 12 players....right now we only have 11. I really think BK isn't done dealing yet.

Correct me if I am wrong, but was BK the GM in Vancouver when they drafted Bibby? I know he traded him to Sacramento before Vancouver relocated to Memphis. Just curious.

Not surprising he wants #10.

I hope he isn't done dealing. Hopefully he could ship zaza and salim off.

Is it possible to get that fortunate and clean out the entire bench with the exception of Chills and Solomon?
Salim to me has zero value and Zaza is inexpensive and can help when Horford gets in foul trouble or gets injured.
We can't totally deplete our frontline, as we still need help there. Could we possibly be looking for help using Chills?

I am in awe of this trade....someone on the kings board says it doesn't work out, and we add a 2nd rounder to the mix and we have our PG.

Zaza sucks though. He is a defensive liability on the court. When he is in their if Horford gets into foul troublr, he will watch guys go pasted him for easy baskets.

congrats....even though bibby isnt a true pg. i think he can still help your team...add some scoring punch. i respect the hawks for trading for a legitimate player...w/o giving up any of the core players: johnson, horford, williams, smith and childress. good job!....even though kings got talent in return...it probably wont really affect the teams overall play, but still is the first step in the rebuilding process to start young.

I think the dealing is done. Any more contracts added will cause the team to flirt with the luxury tax to match a big offer to Josh Smith. It would be possible to deal Josh and Zaza for a cheaper swingman and a replacement big, but they're hard to find without messing up the cap situation bad.

On the other hand I didn't see this coming, so I wouldn't pay much attention to my insight.
